How It Works

With Your Legacy Story, you can have a professional-style documentary produced about you or your loved one. Through this site, you can start building your story using our template:

The Process Is Simple:

  1. Choose the time length and amount of photos.
  2. Review the questions our interviewer will ask.
  3. Upload the photos that apply to your story.
  4. We come to your home to interview the person being featured.
  5. Have your finished product uploaded to our YouTube Channel or keep a copy for yourself.

Why Video?

Video is the best medium to tell your story because it combines visuals, sound, and emotion to create a powerful, immersive experience. Unlike text or images alone, video can show facial expressions, tone of voice, body language, and setting—all of which help convey your message more clearly and memorably. It captures attention quickly, keeps viewers engaged longer, and allows for creative storytelling through editing, music, and pacing. While sharing your personal journey, or explaining a complex idea, video makes your story more relatable, dynamic, and impactful.

  • People are 4x more likely to WATCH VIDEOS than read TEXT -Animoto
  • Viewers retain 95% of a message when they WATCH IT compared to only 10% reading it in TEXT -Invisia
  • Visitors spend 88% more time on a website with video -Mist Media
